Opposite of Isolation: Austin

The Opposite of Isolation: All-Levels Contact Improv Workshop

Are you seeking more playfulness and creativity in your self-expression?

Are you curious about expanding your skillfulness and comfort with being consensually intimate and close with others?

Are you a mover and/or dancer eager to incorporate more improv and partnering in your practice?

All bodies welcome.

Hesitant folks extra welcome.

Experienced contact improvisers, lean in further.

Connect, listen, play, investigate, learn, unlearn.

If you have been curious about Contact Improv (CI), this is the perfect time to learn about all the fun and connection it has to offer. Beginners are welcome. Skeptics are wanted! Embrace this form of closeness, community, play and consensual touch: the OPPOSITE of isolation.

We'll practice full-body LISTENING and ATTUNEMENT

Physical closeness with others in general, and especially after so much separation, can be confronting, overwhelming, and profound. We will slowly work into connection and play from a place of deep listening, connecting with our boundaries and desires.
