Penélope is making her debut as a host of Ground Swell next week and I couldn’t be more excited. She knows how to get a room of people moving, getting into their bodies and connecting with one another. And she understands deeply the trauma of the political landscape we live in.

We both agree that no matter how things play out next week, we have to keep moving, dancing, and metabolizing our pain and gratefulness, together. No matter what.

Be bold, be awkward. Dance with awe, anger, joy, grief.

The music is thoughtfully curated to take you through a cathartic experience.

This is an alcohol-free community dance experience facilitated by JoJo Phoenix and friends.
